The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is a beast of a device that overemphasizes something: ultra-fast, ultra-powerful, ultra-big. It is a statement Phone, aiming to be the most powerful and the best phone ever. There are many impressive things about the S20 Ultra but the flagship feature is the all-new camera system, which kicks off the next stage of mobile photography. The price of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra in Pakistan is Rs 213,999.
The phone sports a 6.9-inch screen making it Samsung’s largest ever smartphone display. Samsung also offers alternative options – a slightly compact 6.7-inch Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus and an even smaller and cheaper 6.2-inch Samsung Galaxy S20. The edges of the S20 Ultra are curved, the display goes right up to the edge of the device and nearly kisses the metal frame. Although, with a 6.9-inch screen, a 7.76-ounce (220-gram) weight and thicker sides it is an arm-tiring device. It also has a huge 5000mAh battery and the in-box charger gets the phone from 1% to 60% in just 30 minutes and takes only another 35 minutes to get the rest of the way to 100%.
Samsung’s new quad-camera system consists of a large 108MP wide-angle, 12MP ultra-wide angle, 48MP telephoto with periscopic 4x optical zoom, a depth sensor, and a 40MP front-facing camera. The camera quality is excellent overall, with sharp detail and rich colour. The 40MP selfie camera shoots 10MP images producing some of the very best and most detailed shots. Controls, ports, and buttons are satisfying – The screen lock/power button and volume toggle are on the right edge of the phone. The combined SIM/microSD card tray is located on the top, while the USB-C port and downward-firing speaker are on the bottom. With a Snapdragon 865 and 12GB of RAM, the software performance is exceptional without a single moment of hesitation or even a slowdown.
