United States Educational Foundation (USEFP), in Pakistan, have asked students across Pakistan to apply for Fulbright Student Program, 2022.
Fulbright’s Master and P.H.D programs includes facilities like tuition, required textbooks, airfare, a living stipend, and health insurance fulfilled with funds provided by Funded by the US Department of State.
The program has been designed for variety of audience. Students with strong educational background, who have livelihood in Pakistan, ones who are devoted to serve the Nation after returning are all eligible to be the part of Fulbright Student Program, 2022. This is not it, all those belonging to fields of water, energy, agriculture, public health, education, social sciences, mass communication, journalism, arts and culture management, including museum studies and heritage conservation, environmental science, urban and regional planning, security and peace studies, and data science disciplines are welcomed to apply.
As for master’s people with 4 years of Bachelor’s degree or a Bachelor’s and Master’s combination totaling 16 years of formal education via an accredited university fulfills the criteria to apply for the program.
Individuals who have just graduated, except for MBA and those belonging to Public Policy/Administration applicants, who require 2 years of work experience are also eligible to be the part of the Program.
As for P.H.D degree program, applicants having a Master’s, M.Phil. or comparable degree (a minimum of 18 years of formal education) from an accredited university are encouraged to apply.
Also for those bearing some experience in teaching, research or works for public sector in Pakistan are highly encouraged to apply.
Moreover, people facing disabilities and those belonging to backgrounds like Balochistan, Sindh, Southern Punjab, KP, AJK, and GB are urged to be a part of this student’s program.
All those who are willing and are determined to achieve their dreams except for clinical medicine are eligible for entering the Fulbright Student Program, 2022.
Few amendments are made unlike last year, Graduate Record Examination (GRE General) score report is required from all applicants for the 2022 scholarship program. The new Scoring system requires 138 points for verbal and 138 for quantitative session.
In addition to this, the applications from 2021 Fulbright Student Program without the GRE score report will be accepted by USEFP, in order to cover the delay created by the pandemic.
The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), will be the next step to conquer for all the students entering in the 2022 Fulbright Student Program.
Afterwards, all the candidates will be asked to sign the contract with USEFP. As for the successful P.H.D candidates a bond with HEC that restrict their returning back to homeland, right after the program has ended and serve the country for the number of years equivalent to the length of their scholarship program.
The deadline for The Fulbright Student Program is said to 9 June 2022, by USEFP.
