Google’s AI Seekho initiative has gained massive traction in Karachi, drawing AI enthusiasts, developers, and professionals eager to enhance their skills in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Themed “Karachi Walo AI Seekho,” the event emphasized the growing need for AI education and its significance in shaping the city’s tech landscape.

The Google Cloud initiative provided structured, hands-on training aimed at equipping participants with practical knowledge of AI, ML, and cloud computing technologies. Led by industry experts, the immersive sessions allowed attendees to explore Google Cloud’s advanced tools, enabling them to develop AI-driven solutions and refine their problem-solving abilities.

Google’s AI Seekho: Bridging the Gap Between Academia and Industry

Organized by GDG Kolachi, a leading tech community in Pakistan, the event successfully connected aspiring professionals with mentors, fostering knowledge-sharing and innovation. With Arhum Ishtiaq, CTO and Co-founder of ConnectHear, along with GDG Kolachi’s dynamic team—including Danella Patrick, Hassam Jawed, Hassan Mujtaba, Aashir Ahmed, Muhammad Ateeb, Hafiz Munim, Fizza Khan, and Huzaifa Habib—participants received first-hand exposure to AI and ML tools.

The initiative’s workshops and interactive discussions aimed to bridge the gap between academia and industry by providing real-world AI applications. Attendees had the opportunity to engage with industry leaders, explore AI-based problem-solving techniques, and build a strong foundation in AI development.

Expanding AI Learning with Google Cloud’s Self-Study Program

Beyond the in-person training, Google’s AI Seekho also offers an online Google Cloud self-study program for Pakistani developers. This initiative enables participants to access Google Cloud labs, explore cutting-edge AI models like Gemini and Vertex AI, and develop expertise in AI/ML, data, and infrastructure technologies.

To further encourage engagement, participants who complete the learning challenges between January 23 – February 20, 2025, will qualify for an exclusive Google Cloud swag pack.
