GTA V PC Update Finally Arrives
PC players of Grand Theft Auto V can now experience the game with the same next-gen enhancements that console players received three years ago. Rockstar Games has officially rolled out the long-awaited GTA V PC update, bringing marked graphical and performance upgrades to the platform. This free update is available for existing owners of the game, while the original version of GTA V has been replaced with the new Expanded & Enhanced edition on PC storefronts.
The update introduces advanced technical improvements, including ray tracing for high-end PCs, alongside smoother frame rates and enhanced visuals. Players can also migrate their Story Mode and Online progress to the upgraded version. Additionally, the update includes minor content additions such as new vehicles, ambient wildlife, photography challenges, and access to the GTA+ subscription service.
Rockstar’s Continued Investment in the GTA Franchise
Rockstar Games has been consistently updating and re-releasing its Grand Theft Auto titles in recent years. Alongside this update, the company previously launched remastered versions of GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas, revamping the classic titles for modern platforms.
However, while these upgrades keep the fanbase engaged, the gaming community’s excitement is primarily focused on the upcoming Grand Theft Auto VI. With expectations sky-high, players are eagerly awaiting more details on what Rockstar has in store for the next chapter in the legendary franchise.
