The company is creating a Google Wallet interface for Google Play Services to access and manage payment, transit cards and memberships.

Google has officially introduced its mobile payment service, Google Wallet, in Pakistan, revolutionizing digital transactions in the country. The new service enables users to make online, in-app, and contactless payments via their smartphones, offering a secure and convenient alternative to traditional payment methods. With the rise of cashless transactions, the wallet aims to enhance the digital financial game, making payments smoother and more efficient.

How to Set Up Google Wallet in Pakistan

Setting up Google Wallet in Pakistan is an easy process. Users can start by downloading the Google Wallet app from the Play Store. If a compatible debit or credit card is already linked to a Google account, it will automatically appear in the wallet. Otherwise, users can manually add a card by selecting “Add a card” and following the verification process. Once the issuer’s terms and conditions are accepted, the card will be tokenized and ready for use in contactless payments.

Google Wallet supports tap-to-pay technology, allowing users to make secure transactions at physical stores with NFC-enabled Android devices. Additionally, it can store digital passes such as loyalty cards and boarding passes, making it a versatile financial tool.
