Pakistanis residing in UAE now have the facility to register complaints, make suggestions, and give feedback by using the new Foreign Minister’s Portal introduced by the National Information Technology Board (NITB) on Monday.
According to Gulf News, Pakistan ‘Foreign Minister’s Portal’ has initially been launched in five Pakistani missions abroad, which includes Dubai, Jeddah, London, New York, and Barcelona to help overseas Pakistanis file complaints, ideas, and feedback.
Furthermore, the highlight of this latest initiative is that even international nationals in these nations can download and register the portal to communicate their concerns and suggestions in case they are encountering any problems in dealing with the foreign missions in these countries. The gateway will gradually be available to all Pakistani missions abroad.

“As announced by Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi on 16 June 2021, under the Vision FO Thought Leadership Platform, the pilot phase of the Foreign Minister’s Portal (FMP) has been launched today,” Pakistan Foreign Office said in a statement issued on Monday.
The said portal is developed by the NITB and accredited by the Ministry of Information Technology & Telecom (MoITT), the Foreign Minister’s Portal in the current times is a pilot project. Pakistani nationals residing abroad can download the Android application for now, with the iOS version set to be launched later as well.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has commented on the event that the portal has been developed with the purpose of promoting associations between overseas Pakistanis and their missions.
“The portal has been crafted with the aim of strengthening the relationship between our overseas Pakistanis and missions in the form of feedback, complaints, and suggestions,” Qureshi tweeted. “I am looking forward to personally engaging with diaspora feedback and suggestions for more efficient service and progress.”
