Apple has announced to donate to the ‘relief and recovery efforts in Pakistan following the devastating floods that have ruined the lives of millions of people. Apple’s CEO Tim Cook shared on Twitter; “The floods in Pakistan and surrounding areas are devastating humanitarian disasters. Our thoughts are with those that have lost loved ones, the many displaced families, and all those affected. Apple will donate to relief and recovery efforts on the ground.”

Malala Thanked Tim Cook for his support
The world’s youngest Nobel laureate, Malala Yousafzai, thanked Tim Cook for supporting Pakistan in this crunch situation when the country is already facing a lot of instability. She replied to Tim Cook’s tweet, stating; “Thank you Tim and Apple for providing support to Pakistan in this very difficult time.”

The minister of Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal, also appreciated Tim Cook and Apple’s effort for helping the flood victims of Pakistan. He wrote; “Thanks for the support. The Catastrophic Flooding in Pakistan
The recent floods have submerged a third of Pakistan and killed more than 1,100 people. The court RT has received 190% more rain than the 30-year average in the quarter through August this year. Sindh, the hardest-hot province, got 466% more rain than the 30-year average. As per reports, more than 1 million homes have been damaged or destroyed in the past few months, displacing millions of people while some are living in organized camps, others have had to find their own shelter. The flood has also destroyed the crops hence facing a food shortage in the country.
