Realme has confirmed the launch of its first-ever laptop via a video on YouTube. The brand announced the launch date and time that will be on 8th August 2021. While Realme has not confirmed much about the specs so far, it has been said that the Realme Book Slim will be one of the slimmest and lightest laptops available in its segment.

Realme Book Slim will be revealed at a virtual launch event. The launch event can be watched live on the company’s official Facebook and YouTube channels. The Realme laptop will launch during the 828 fan festival in China on August 18 at 3:00 PM local time.
Realme Book Slim leaked specifications
As per a recent online leak, the device will feature a metal body that will be 14.9mm thin. It is also anticipated to dwell a total of three microphones; 2 USB-C 3.1 ports, one USB 3.2Gen 1 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack. The USB-C port supports 65W fast charging, with a 54Wh battery under the hood. The laptop is also expected to come with stereo speakers tuned by Harman Kardon.

Realme Book Slim is predicted to feature a 14-inch 2K display powered by an 11th Generation Intel Core i5 processor. The device is also said to pack 16GB of RAM that will run on the Windows 10 operating system. The laptop’s base model is expected to be priced at Rs 40,000.
The company’s CEO Madhav Sheth also shared an image displaying a PC Connect feature, which will likely be available on an upcoming Realme Book model and a Realme GT series. While the exec didn’t clarify the feature, the name indicates that it will let users interact with their Realme phones via the laptop to maybe exchange photos, browse media, and many more. As per the teasers, the laptop will be offered in two colour preferences including; blue and grey. The company will disclose the price and availability details of the laptop on the launch day.
