AI News Anchor Sana to Roll Out Next Week
India Group’s AI news Anchor Sana will be rolled out in the coming week and she will be bringing daily news updates several times a day. Although it sounds like an attack on the jobs of the human anchors but Purie assured that Sana will not take away the brilliance of real-life anchors as they will be mentoring her.
As per the details, Sana will host a new show where she will discuss and clarify specific topics daily and interact with the audience, allowing them to ask questions. According to Purie; Sana will have a human surrogate editor and hopefully company soon. However, some critics have expressed concerns about the potential displacement of human journalists and news anchors, as well as the potential for bias in AI-generated news content.
The Rise of AI in News Reporting
The use of AI-powered news anchors has been growing in popularity in recent years. It is viewed as a cost-effective and efficient way to deliver news content, while also reducing the risk of human error in news reporting. India Today’s launch of Sana is expected to pave the way for other news channels and media outlets to adopt similar technology. As AI technology continues to evolve, it will be interesting to see how it will impact the role of human journalists and news anchors in news reporting.
