The National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) can now expose men’s secret marriages using their latest ‘Qaumi Tasdeeq-o-Tajdeed Campaign’. This campaign is a new system for the verification of family members, and it will further help people to identify if any irrelevant person is registered in their family. However, the initiative will be more useful for married women who want to keep an eye on their husbands.

Pakistani Wives Can Get Details of their Husbands’ Secret Marriages

The latest initiative of NADRA, ‘Qaumi Tasdeeq-o-Tajdeed Campaign’ works by sending a simple message to NADRA, the wives can get the details if their husbands are having any secret marriages. To find out, women just need to text their husband’s CNIC number and its date of issuance to 8009. Here is the text format: <13 digits CNIC No> Space.

Once the details are sent, the person will receive details of their family members. If any information provided by NADRA is incorrect or the name of an unrelated person is included in the family members, write ‘1’ in reply to inform NADRA. An agent of the NADRA will then contact you from its helpline 051-2778009. However, if the information is correct, then reply ‘2’ to confirm it to the authority. A representative of the NADRA will then contact you from its helpline 051-2778009 to update the family details.
