RDS to launch Google Cloud technologies in Pakistan

REDtone Digital Services (RDS) is now working to bring cloud technologies to Pakistan, as the firm has joined the Google Cloud Partner Advantage Program, the firm announced on Wednesday.

According to a statement released by the firm, it is a great accomplishment for the business ecosystem of Pakistan as, by the means of RDS, government and private sector businesses, SMEs and startups would have firsthand access to Google Cloud, Google Education, and Google Workspace offerings.

Furthermore, RDS will extend Google Cloud approved sales, pre-sales, and assistance to customers across the country, while it will also be working closely with Google Cloud’s startup scheme and will extend various incentives and resources to the startup fellowship in Pakistan.

Moreover, owing to several initiatives implemented by the Government of Pakistan, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Ministry of IT and Telecom (MoITT), and the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), Pakistan has resulted in enhancements in the IT infrastructure and growth in IT exports. As a result, foreign investors and conglomerates are now recognizing Pakistan as a future IT hub.

In regards to the latest development, Mahnoor Nadeem, the CEO of RDS stated, “Pakistan is at the cusp of a digital revolution. With our strong economic and fiscal policies, it was heartening to see Google Cloud want to enter Pakistan through RDS. We are very keen to work with the public and private sectors here and offer them any support with respect to Google Cloud, Workspace and Education.”

She further stated that they will also be actively engaging with the startup community of Pakistan by the incubation program and will be offering them acceleration, cloud credits, training, and mentorship powered by Google Cloud.
