Online searches is one of the important indicators to monitor the trends a society is following and for businesses to monitor the consumer intent. Pakistanis, along with other purposes, mostly consume their internet for personal entertainment, restaurant guide, product research assistant, and all-around source of truth.
Google has released its annual report of Year in Search Pakistan, which looks back at 2020 through the collective eyes of searches on Google Pakistan and offers a perspective on the year’s major events, hottest trends, and changes in behavior due to covid-19 based on results found in Pakistan.
According to the search results announced by Google, just like every other year, this year’s trending searches were dominated by everyone’s favorite sport, Cricket.
