Twitter has got some good news for its users. Twitter has extended its features by allowing a user to upload uncompressed 4K images with their phone. Previous features did not allow the user to upload a high-resolution image using their phone, due to which users have to switch to a laptop or pcs.
The following steps would help the user to enable the new feature introduced by the platform:
- Head over to Settings and click on privacy.
- Select Data Usage.
- Switch to High-quality image uploads.
- Enable the option Mobile data & Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi only from the default, i.e., Never.
On one hand, the feature makes it easier for the user to upload the image without compressing it it also increases the file size and increases the uploading time.
Twitter does compress the image at its end before uploading it. The reason for web results being perfect is that Twitter uploads the image while compressing it along with reducing its size, which is why the image post from the web appears better.
In addition to this, Twitter has also made amendments to how the image will appear on the timeline. The default version used to be in the landscape mood that is now set to the full image. whereas, the video quality would be the same, abysmal.
