Musk Was Shocked to Learn that US Government Had Full Access to Private Messages on Twitter
Elon Musk said that the degree to which various government agencies effectively had full access to everything that was going on on Twitter blew his mind and he was not aware of that. The interviewer asked whether it included Twitter DMs or not; to which Musk replied in affirmation.
In a separate clip Musk was seen talking about AI, he said that AI is more dangerous than, say, mismanaged aircraft design or production maintenance, or bad car production in the sense that it has the potential. However, a small one may regard that probability, but it is non-trivial it has the potential for civilizational destruction.
Musk Claims Ring Alarm Bells
Twitter, which has over 330 million monthly active users, is one of the world’s most popular social media platforms for sharing news, opinions, and personal conversations. Private DMs on Twitter are meant to provide users with a secure means of communicating privately, and the alleged breach of privacy by the U.S. government has raised serious concerns about the integrity of the platform. The implications of Musk’s claims go beyond Twitter and raise broader questions about the extent of government surveillance in the digital age.
