The popular messaging app, WhatsApp is working on a feature called the edit recipients feature. The new feature allows users to choose different recipients before sending media right within a WhatsApp chat. New changes will also implement the possibility to upload the media to your status update, even if you are sending the image, video, GIF to a WhatsApp chat. While the feature is currently in development, it won’t be available for testing by beta users as of yet. The app may unveil the feature for testing by the public at a later date.

What does the edit recipients feature hold?
The edit recipients feature will enable the users to add a caption, but the same media on their status, and select status recipients right from the same interface while sending media on a chat, as shown in the picture below, which suggests that users will be able to choose the contacts to send media when they select the option to share media, that will enable them to send media to multiple other users from one single chat window without the need of forwarding it multiple times.

The new beta update contains hidden references in the code, which suggests that WhatsApp developers may be working on a new layout for sending media. Additionally, the instant messaging app may also be working on a feature that lets users edit their recipients when they are sending media.”

WhatsApp is releasing a new feature to search for nearby businesses to provide users with vast opportunities to grow their business. A search filter interface will allow users to instantly search for nearby businesses. The business nearby option will be incorporated with other options that appear upon searching, such as; Photos, Videos, Links, GIFs, Audio, and Documents.
