Tech company xAI launches Grok 3 AI, introducing an advanced model designed to mimic human reasoning. The announcement was made during a livestream with Elon Musk, where he claimed the new model is more capable than its predecessor, Grok 2. The Grok 3 series includes multiple versions, with the Grok 3 Reasoning and Grok 3 mini Reasoning models specifically developed for complex analytical tasks. These AI models are expected to improve user interactions by enhancing problem-solving abilities in mathematics, science, and programming.

Features and Accessibility of Grok 3 AI

xAI asserts that Grok 3 Reasoning surpasses competing artificial intelligence models like OpenAI’s o3-mini in certain benchmark tests. A standout feature of Grok 3 is DeepSearch, a next-generation search tool that scours the internet and X (formerly Twitter) to generate concise research summaries. Additionally, users can activate the “Think” function to leverage Grok’s reasoning capabilities or opt for the “Big Brain” feature for more complex computational tasks. Initially, Grok 3 AI will be available to X Premium+ subscribers, which now costs $40 per month, with a separate standalone subscription, SuperGrok, priced at $30 per month.

Future Updates

Beyond launching the advanced artificial intelligence model, xAI revealed plans to introduce a “voice mode” in the upcoming week, enabling conversational interactions with AI through synthesized speech. Furthermore, xAI intends to open-source Grok 2 models in the coming months. As the artificial intelligence industry evolves, Grok 3 AI is expected to redefine intelligent automation and digital reasoning capabilities.
