Instagram Stories Comment: A New Interaction Method
The introduction of the Instagram stories comment feature changes how users can interact with each other’s posts. Previously, Instagram Stories, which disappear after 24 hours, could only be responded to via direct messages. Now, comments can be left directly on the Stories, visible to all followers of the account.
The feature, however, is only available between mutual followers, and users have the option to turn comments on or off for any specific Story. Moreover, the comments, like the Stories themselves, are temporary and vanish after 24 hours.
